Scratch in plastic next to sensor

Dear photo community, im fairly new in the photography world and got myself a used sony a6700
Back home i found this scratch and dont know if that can influence my photos or if its harmless

From what you shared I'd say "No." Looks to be a scratch. A crack may indicate impact damage and the possibility of bigger problems. Obviously, you should shoot it and look at the images.

Yeah I doubt that will have any effect. But if you think it does. You could get a cotton swab or q tip and wet it with super glue or the like. Fill in the scratch and lightly sand it making sure you don't touch the sensor, and making sure the sand grits don't go on the sensor, like a damp cloth instead of blowing on it.
