I took these shots at a local workshop event with the SoCal Photography Group. I had a blast and think I took some great shots with the help of all the models and MUAs. It was my first time working with actual models, and still early attempts at people photography. Here's a small selection of some of my favorites:

the eye's in #5 go right through me....

nice work...

Overall I think you did a good job but some pointers:

#1: Her left hand comes out of nowhere.
#2: I kinda like it while a wide angle is usually not a good choice for model photography unless you really want that distorted effect.
#3: don't like her expression
#4: somehow my favorite. I like her expression and looking down.
#6: somehow unsharp and the eyes are to far to the side.
#7: The combination of pose and dress does not look too good.
#8: Nice but having her a bit more left in the frame would work better as composition IMHO
#10: In this one her body is too straight to the cam IMO.
#11: I like the concept but she should have turned her body more towards the camera IMHO.

I know its very difficult to get decent shots during workshops when you compete with other photographer to get the attention of the model.
