I always appreciate people trying new ideas and concepts. Unfortunately, I just dont get these.

The processing is pretty overwhelming, the lighting seems very harsh, and they look as though they were overexposed and then recovered?

Good on you to try something different, but they just don't work for me.

the ligthing was a little difficult to do, I had to use 3 chairs and then a chanteler to iluminate her face.

I still have a lot to learn

We all have a lot to learn - keep at it! Once you get some speed lights you will see your results improve drastically!

The second one has the quality of a surreal image; just post it that way and you will be appreciated

Cool concept. It looks like you might be trying to do some low key lighting. There are many examples on TPF and many good set ups and examples on line if you like that technique. I'd be interested to see this if you decide to reshoot.

Like Rub said, I appreciate alot people getting their own ideas, and bringing their own mystical world to us by photography. But in these shot's, I think you didn't success. I'm very glad you have tried something new, and unique that I haven't seen before, but still, the idea doesn't come out for me.
