Use the tripod and timer and try standing by the window for some shots, get more distance from you and the mirror and utilize the creative lighting and aspects of the window behind you.

syphlix: i wasn't thinking right the sun was already setting and angle of the light is changing rapidly and i had troubles focusing.....

bit of flare but otherwise ok. I like how the reddish lighting + dirty mirror + grid pattern on window give it a raw and gritty look. framing could have been tighter.
