I ran unsharp mask at 500% and radius 3 to really tweak the local contrast. Up close it's sort of coarse and gritty.

This image is full of masculinity for me: I like this rough-hewn background, your pose, the contrast, and especially the tortured-artist/sexy professor-type expression - it's all working here, baybay. Really good one. :thumbup:
