Self Portrait.

It has been a while since i have posted a self portrait on here. so here is one i took tonight.

Wow you've grown up! Not sure you're lights were set properly on this. I know you were dealing with the glasses, but the eye sockets need more light. Based on catch lights it looks like your fill was really low.

My guess is that you are using a 4x3 softbox and a speedlight for fill?

I look at the catchlights and they are confusing. Because the softbox is on the outside edge of each eye like you were using two softboxes but I only see two lights in each eye.

Let us know the lighting setup you used. It's a really nice start just needs a tweak to dial it in.

Agree with the others; a good start, but I think the lights could use a little tweaking.

Looks evenly lit to me, but I am no pro. Should the camera position be a little higher on the face? I'm asking to learn.

3 lights were used in total. there was a softbox on a boom directly in front of me to do fill light and then 1 soft box on either side of me.

That makes sense for what I was seeing. As I said, this is a great starting point, just need to tweak the lighting, as I believe we all would like to see some more lighting to the eyes. They are just a tick or two dark. Maybe this could be accomplished with the fill light in the middle.
