Better? Lol, I drove the exposure down in lightroom. I wanted dark and gritty, but you're right--looks better more exposed.

I was facing towards the sun. What else could I have done? I think what you're seeing is the result of my piss poor PP. It's the first time I've tried to work the black and white part of PP, and I lost a lot of details in his eye. I've only been photographing for about 2 to 3 months, lol-- so all CC and pointers are welcomed without defense.

What I am saying was you need to be in more light vs the background. I think the way you shot this one is both you and the background have a lot of light. If you are in the sun and the background is not in the sun or have a darker color, you will pop more. Does that make sense?
