This is one from a recent session. What do you think? What can I improve on?

welcome to the site. I like this shot but wonder what it would look like in color? Also there is one fly-away hair on the camera left that could be fixed.

The main issue I see is that the conversion is rather dull and mid-tone heavy. Try some selective contrast enhancements to get closer to a full black -> full white tonal range.
