I've started the 6am shift at work, which means that around 2:30 I'm able to leave the studio and race to the coast if I get lucky with traffic. Today, I did just that, ending up at Davenport Beach, north of Santa Cruz. The sunset didn't turn out as I'd hoped it would, but the fog rolling in gave things a nice smoky look.

Hope you like it! I'll definitely be returning when I can get more of a sunset and light playing off the rocks.
