If yours has another serial number it doesn't mean it is real, but most of the batteries on ebay have this same serial!

Not sure, I found a website about how to spot a fake and compared the fake one to what I saw on ebay, and noticed the identical serials.

There is some amount of quality control on ebay. You can give a seller a bad rating. If you receive something that is not as described and you made your purchase through paypal you may be eligible for a refund. And I suppose I could have reported those sellers for selling counterfiet goods.
