Setup advise...

I want to set up a shot where a person is looking into a wall mounted mirror and I want to take the shot in a low over the shoulder fashion with the back of the person in frame as well. How do I achieve this without being in the shot?

Shoot through a small opening in a backdrop. Clone the lens out in post.

Or skip the backdrop, and just clone you out of the image.

You could also mount the camera on a tripod, set a shutter delay of 2 to 10 seconds so the camera is the only unwanted part in the image, and then clone out the camera.
