Neat photo! i had not heard of Hessian sacks, ever! I had to look that up on Wikipedia. Here in the USA, we call these gunny sacks...today, they are not that common, at least in modern, urban life. As of today, a common use for these is for keeping large fish, mostly salmon, cool while aboard a boat or while shore fishing, by wetting the bag and allowing evaporative cooling. Often sold today in Pacific Northwest USA sporting good stores as "fish bags".

I've used burlap for a textural cover, as on bulletin boards for instance.

It's a tad dark I think, it seems to recede a little too much into the black. Otherwise I like it as I do much of your other work.

I looked partly to see what this would be... a gunny or burlap sack is what I know too.
