I was across the room and down the hall to get that shot, a good 40 feet or so? Even at f4 with the DC at Rearf4 the oof is really soft and creamy. The background is ~5 feet behind her!

How do you like it as opposed to the 70-200 at 135?

much lighter, easier to wield (and I'm a big guy) and softer. The character of this lens is very different from the other, more modern lenses. Not as crispy, not razor blade sharp. More dreamy..hard to put words to it, I compare it to LP vs. CD.

Good shots. I feel like her legs in 2 need to be warmed up a bit and maybe slightly retouched to match her shoulders and head, but otherwise, I like them.
