So today while messing around with my camera, my girlfriend's roommate walked into the room. I told her to pose, and she took to it! This was my favorite shot. I love the lighting and even the glare, or what whatever you wanna call it, on the lens.

I have yet to use the flash on my camera. I need to start experimenting with it in certain shots!

Fill flash is your friend. Flare + fill = sb600 placed behind subject, pop up flash for fill. by NOLA_2T, on Flickr

Well.. flash is not always the answer. You are the artist, do what you want. Charlie is right though, the subject is underexposed. Don't be afraid blowing the background if you choose not to use a flash.

I think this photo is pretty decent though. I have no doubt in my mind you can work on the RAW a little more and it will look awesome. I just wish the composition was better.

If you want it to still look more natural, a reflector is better than a fill flash in my opinion.
