If you want it to still look more natural, a reflector is better than a fill flash in my opinion.

Obviously the advice for fill or a reflector is great, but this was a snapshot, and that's FINE. Snapshot is a dirty word around here but not to me. That being said I don't think you quite caught it right in the original but don't be afraid to shoot on the fly. You don't always have time to go grab a reflector or set up a flash.

You're absolutely correct, this was a very spontanious shot. For future shots in this situation, a little planning and a reflector will be utilized :thumbup:

Totally agree. Although I did not know before reading your post that I didn't need one for my FZ100. All my indoor shots went from worse to horrible. Since then, i've stopped using them and the indoor shots are at least worth looking at. I wish I had read your post and did some pertinent reading before wasting money on a great UV filter.

a UV filter will work inside a building? I thought the point of it was to filter out UV rays from the sun?

Did you know that you do not NEED a UV filter on a Digital camera? They were designed for film, which needed them... Digital sensors don't! They are a waste of time.. and can lower image quality and cause all sorts of artifacts! They do "protect" the lens.. but so does an Clear Filter (if you have to have a filter!) :0

The excessive lens flare was probably why Schwetty brought it up!
