I don't love the vignetting and the arm chop is distracting. Prefer the lens flare personally

At first glance, the new one is better because she is attractive but:

Her face and torso are badly underexposed
she is OOF
her elbow is brightly lit and draws the eye
The background has lots of stuff in it

She's pretty but you need to pay more attention to exposing and focising on the important areas.

Ok I did a super quick play, its not perfect because of the quality but I thought I'd post anyway
I'd also clone out some of the stuff in the background (or just get her to model for you another time!) I did a channel/curves thing, a couple selective color pulls, a photo filter and a brightness bump.

Personally I love the vignetting. haha! but that's just me. I would love to try again with this little shoot we did. I attempted to do some cloning, and was succesful in removing the light switch that was visable in the original picture, but the bigger stuff was very very difficult to clone out and keep it looking natural.

Bossy, I don't particularly like your edit. NO OFFENSE :mrgreen:. It is just crazy over exposed now! haha
I agree though the original picture is underexposed and slightly soft on the focus, but I tend to like pictures that are slightly underexposed than those that are overexposed. I do apreciate you taking the time to give me some critiques and especially trying to edit my picture! :thumbup::thumbup:

Hah thats funny, it still looks a shade dark to me in her face! Her shirt is def a mess, but thats from working a small image more than anything. No prob though!

I would be willing to bet (a little) that what you like are deeply saturated middle tones rather than underexposed pictures )which are underexposed everywhere and generally look sort of foggy and flat.)
There is a PS method for creating that deeply saturated look but it requires a well exposed image with lots of detail in the middle tones.

If you want it to still look more natural, a reflector is better than a fill flash in my opinion.
