Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
I am a painter, not an electrician, carpenter, nurse, or photographer.

However, I only have myself to depend on to shoot my work for a website. I only have a Canon Powershot sx100 is to use and I have no idea what I'm doing.

Suggestions? Thoughts? HELP?

TIA

Well no doubt then, by necessity you're going to learn how to do photography too, unless you don't mind the photographs on your web site not doing justice to your art work.

You're also going to learn how to do some image editing because photographing art work will likely require you take multiple images that you will then stitch together into a single photo.

so, step one is to get a good understanding of what features you camera has, so read the users manual several times as you have the camera handy.

With a dedicated effort you could feasibly be making acceptable images of your murals, in about a month.

Since you are a painter, quite a few of those skills will also apply to doing photography, so you actually have a head start on most others new to making images with a camera.
