We were playing around on the bed - her favorite place to jump around - and I decided to grab my camera and snap off a few shots. Let me know what you think:

1. ISO 640, 22mm, 1/40 sec, f5.6, aperture priority, no flash

2. ISO 640, 45 mm, 1/250 sec, f5.6, aperture priority, no flash

3. ISO 640, 45 mm, 1/13 sec, f5.6, aperture priority, no flash

The second one is my favorite. The first is good at catching the action of the moment, but the 3rd and 4th don't do much for me. She is adorable and looks like she's having a good time. The only thing is you might want to rethink the title of this post. Maybe add the word "pictures". LOL Just a thought. :)

How did you get such clear shots shooting at 1/13? I have a 2 yr old an I do not even try to shoot below 1/80, otherwise I just get a blur!

Thanks! I get a kick out of the dual meaning of "shooting." Cheesy sense of humor, I suppose!

I guess she just happened to sitting still for that shot! I was in aperture priority, and with the ISO ramped up to 640 I guess it decided 1/13 would suffice. I usually struggle with indoor shots of my daughter because Sony DSLRs (at least the two I've owned) don't do so hot at high ISOs. I usually get a lot more noise than what I was getting here.
