The white things you see here is just plain white A4 printer paper. I used another one for some reflective light. Now, this is photography on a student budget

I think the focus is on the front of the head on that one. ahh, well :grumpy:

Let's just conclude that the reflective A4 paper was EPIC FAIL :lmao:

lol, nothing interesting about razors?

I can inform that this one is a GEM Ever-Ready 1924 Single Edge razor. I haven't tried it yet, but apparently it sings when whacking my whiskers :D I can't wait. I have the case as well. It's in great shape. I've boiled it and disinfected it.

Start by reshooting without the paper seems.
Try filling the frame a bit more. What about more DOF? Work on better composition.

I like the shot for the mechanical nature, it doesn't pop no doubt to lighting. The first one appeals to me.

The thing that I am most drawn to is the vertical shadow in the back. There is no explanation in view. I would not say it adds intrigue rather it is a distraction. Maybe it can be PP'ed out? Actually all the seams could be PP'ed but the shadows will suffer. The shadow in #1 does not change direction to become vertical like I expect it should. It is interesting but confusing.

Don't listen to Bitter he has never seen a razor
Try moving it away for the background and get more light on the background, move it about and try lots of different angles, get lower and fill the frame
First shot is the most interesting

Can you take the head off? Because I think #1 would be good without the handle, and filling the frame.
