Shot Diana's Pool today-- What a location!

Absolutely loved this location. I've seen my friends posting snapshots of it this summer, and had some extra time this evening so I went down and shot it. I can't believe I've never been here before! This location provided ENDLESS locations for compositions--I plan to go back and shoot some more again. There were plenty of shots I wanted to take but didn't have enough time. Hope you enjoy, and comments are always welcome!

I'm glad I'm not the only one who takes cell phone pictures of my camera on the tripod when I'm out. Ha.

Or hiking selfies with tripod strapped to backpack and sling strap. Do you do that too?

Not so much--I never take a good selfie so they never stay on my phone long. Haha. Yeah! Gotta document the beast in it's natural habitat!

Not it personally, but I'm somewhat obsessed with my gear and often post "behind the scenes" shots.

And yeah, it is beautiful. I think next time I go will be in the morning...

I'm wondering if HDR was necessary for those shots? Modern Dslr can handle much wider range these days and a single raw shot is more than enough.

It was. It adds and extra layer of depth to the photos. The dynamic range in the first was barely covered by my five shots.

i tried looking it up and got a Ct and NH location. Aren't you in Maine?
What tripod head is that? Just got my Manfrotto last night but no head as I am not educated enough..
