I'm still working on my portrait photography, but I thought these were worth sharing.

I think these are really good shots.
To be nit picky I think the lighting is just every so slightly flat.
They are better than my portrait shots though.
What was your lighting set up?

Thanks for commenting. I'm using a Canon wireless setup. I have a 580 (A) attached to the camera controlling a ex430 (B) on an umbrella and a third ex430 (C) as a background flash. I was using a 1:4 ratio for flash A and B.

what do you use for your skin touchups? i've been doing a lot of that lately and im curious about different processes. (unless of course she just has crazy smooth skin naturally)

Great shots overall; last one seems a bit underlit though in my opinion.

I think you aced every one of them, and have earned the right to experiment for different lighting affects. Don't ask me what I mean because I'm not very inventive myself.

I use the simple skin smoothing tool in Paintshop Pro X2.
