Should MOTW make a come back?

The way it worked in the past was that there was a thread where you signed up to be a MOTW. The difficulty was, by the time some people were reached on the list (because order-of-signing-up is not always the way to go with these things), they were no longer active posters - they wouldn't even know they were the MOTW and therefore wouldn't appear. That can be addressed, though, if they're told a few days in advance, and respond that they're available and willing to be available the next week to answer questions, before they are confirmed as the next MOTW.

Also, people seemed to like reading the answers, but wouldn't ask questions, so the threads would peter out with insufficient questions for the MOTW to answer. If we all (on this thread) make sure we ask a few questions, that problem should be lessened.

So I think MOTW still a viable thing (until it peters out again, as it undoubtedly will). Someone needs to run it though (ie run the signup thread, pick the person each week, tell them ahead of time etc etc).
