Shout out to a COOL wedding pro!

My brother was married in Austin yesterday. I was talking shop with the pro and he asked if I had used the 24-70 2.8 before. I had not, so he gives me his to use for a few hours at the reception with my D90. Wow is all I can say! I can't wait to get back to Maryland so i can share some of my images. What a cool guy! He offered up his 70-200 too but I didn't have the space in the reception hall to use it. Great time!!

Who was it? I have a friend who is a wedding shooter in Austin, KC and Leslie Lust. He's an awesome photographer and a great guy!

Well that's pretty awesome.

I'm just curious though. Why did your brother hire a photographer who seems to mostly shoot Indian weddings? If you or your brother are Indian then my apologies.

Paige, not familiar with funfunfun fest. The wedding was at a Sikh temple in Bee Cave and the reception was at Vintage Villas on Lake Travis. Beautiful location overlooking the lake.

cool deal. i would think i'd be the same way if i found a person at an event that was into photography. especially if it was a lens i wasn't really going to be using during the shoot (not sure if a 24-70 really fits the bill with me for this though!). but i also don't really shoot that many pro gigs so i don't deal with "moms with camera's" that often. anyhow, post up some photos so we can judge if you did the glass any justice!
