Show off your catchlights

and maybe post how you got them? I shot this the other day, and when I was a kid, I drew and sketch a bit of anime and have always been fond of this style of catchlights. I'd like to see some others and maybe learn how you did them. I used a big octo box with a bee800 on the left as the main light and a smaller octo on a boom on the right with a bee400 as a filler for these.

yup. these are all just experimenting with various lighting setups on myself.

I'll mention, mine were shot using a tiny 24x24" softbox or ~33" umbrella (the first shot was something special). I used the same high tech 3M flag/reflector as Scatterbrain (4th shot).

I desperately need larger modifiers; soon.

This is one of my Lastolite Umbrella Box units (40 or 43 incher? not sure which one they spec it as), used with a Speedotron M90 flash head inside the box's diffusing screen--the flash head's fairly BIG reflector, about an eight-inch non-removable reflector, causes a round, circular catchlight with a tiny black dot in the center of it. This is kind of a non-typical flash unit to use with an umbrella box, but I personally like the tiny-black-dot, rounded catchlight look.
