Sigma 150-500mm

I'm about to purchase this lens and just want some last minute advice. Does anybody have this lens? How does it work for sports? Aka how quick is the focus? I've read the reviews on Adorama and I like what I read so far.

Read the reviews on Flickr. There are groups on there dedicated specifically to this lens and Im sure someone has asked the exact question on there. Im sure if there is enough light out, it will work fine for sports. However, the F/6.3 at the long end probably won't allow the lens to focus well for night or near dark sports.

I have 2 of them. They work just fine for daytime field sports.
Oh, you will need a good monopod, and be sure and read the users manual.
