I can't believe you have had this much trouble selling this lens at this price. Perhaps, you should look at ebay or craigslist to expand your audience to make sure you get a fiar price.

FWIW, I wouldn't sell mine for less than $700, but then again, I'm not exactly interested in selling.

Thanks Kerbouchard I agree I wouldnt go lower than $600 obviously Id rather get $700 but I want to make i guess a quicker sale so I can get a new body haha

Mana as a buyer your normally safer than a seller on paypal - since they oft side with the buyer in contended transactions rather than with the seller. The other option is to find a reputable company that mediates between interested parties (Though that will cost).

I agree with Overread... I do Paypal all of the time... and have never had an issue. They would shoot themselves in the foot if they screwed someone... and lose too much revenue, they are too visible for shenanigans!

I had experiences with Paypal as a seller, and yeah... you're right... really it's in the SELLER'S best interest not to go paypal. That said, it left a VERY bad taste in my mouth and I prefer to not do transactions unless I feel like both parties are protected. I'm such a great guy.

I suggested escrow but OP didn't want to do it.

truthfully I have gotten screwed over by someone and paypal corrected the problem quickly but same thing I was a buyer but so long as theres mutual trust nothing can go wrong :thumbup: Ive always been told not to use escrow for anything even on craigslist it says to avoid deals involving escrow... nothing against you just what ive read and been told...
