Sigma Lens v Nikon Lens

Hey all. I am in the market for some new glasss and i was wondering if anyone could offer any assistance.

im stuck between the Sigma Zoom Super Wide Angle 18-200mm
and the
Nikon Zoom Super Wide ANgle 18-70mm

Nikkon also makes an 18-200. Have no experience with that lens, but those that have it seem to like it ok.

Whatever you do DO NOT buy an 18-200 of any brand. If you do a search you will find many discussions on that lens.

I was looking at the Nikon 18-200 VR and the 18-70 as well....
I went with the 18-70 got great reviews across the board . the for a little reach I went with the 80-200F2.8 yet another great lens ...
if you get the 80-200 used BOTH lens are the same as one new 18-200 (well at lest the Nikon one.)
just some food for thought...I get the 18-70 tomorrow i post a couple pics
