Howdy, this is my sweet niece. I think I have her skin color true to life but being uncalibrated I'm not sure how I did. Let me know what you think.

I'm not a not portrait guy, but it seems to me that the face is picking up warm AND cool tones or a blue reflection. The left cheek is warm, but the forehead is bluish or cool.

She is in the shade... and a little underexposed (hence the blue tones). The background is already a little overexposed! What'cha gonna do?

Use Flash... you will get better color, correct exposure on her, and a darker, nicer background.
