Snow Dog

Not much else to do today, other than shovel 12 inches of snow, or play with my camera.
My dog Morgan is a regular in my practice shots. I thought the snow, and the bright sun contrasted her black fur nicely..

Is it just me, or is her left eye have a purple tint to it? (In the first photo) I did increase the saturation on just her eyes to make them pop a little. I guess I over did it...

I'm afraid you did... the eyes look kinda radioactive. Other than that, I like your second portrait.

I had a good laugh when you said 'radioactive'... But you're right. They do. I was going for making them really pop out, not mutant-like. Lol. I will have to revisit it.

I really liked your dog and much loved the first image

In the second image it looks more like a gentle man posed than like a dog

Funny, I have a black lab that looks very similar to your first shot. When I clicked the link I thought I had messed up and click on something in my computer.

Yep, the eyes are just a bit too much in the first photo but the second is great. It looks like she is posing for you. There are a couple of spots above the dogs head I would have removed. Good work.
