Serena decided for the first day of 2017 she would let me hang with her for a bit, so I laid in the snow with her for this.

As I was headed home I also noticed a hawk finishing breakfast.

Great snowy shot! He looks like he's sitting at attention. Curious what white balance you use when shooting snowy on snow? Do you have to tweak it in post to get it right?

Settings were 1/8000 F4 ISO 100

How about sending a few Snowies down this way?

With all the tree huggers you have there? The poor Snowy would be boxed up and shipped to Antarctica within 24hrs. Poor thing would die with all the good intentions. :allteeth:

Best I can do is save a room for ya it you ever decide to venture east.
