Nice shot of what looks to be an adult female

Thanks Not sure of the sex or the age.
You can tell Adult males and females apart from the Speckles adult males will have little to none so they will be almost completley white do not know how to tell juvenile from females as they look the same

From talking with the experts around here its almost impossible to tell the sex/ age by just going by color and size. They said they would just be guessing without actually having the bird in a lab. So I never tell people one way or another

Your very lucky to be able to live in his/her neighborhood. Enjoy.

Great shot, man the eyes on that bird!

More wonderful.

Man, that would hurt my neck keeping an eye on you.

Thank you. The thing is, if you keep a good distance from Snowy Owls they will sit for hours. Ive sat with some for 3+ hour waiting for a flight shot and I left before they flew. I've also found the key to flight shots is waiting till some jacka$$ with a cellphone shows up.
