Some C&C please!?

Nice shot. The only thing I would suggest is maybe boosting the contrast a bit. It is a matter of taste, and I just prefer the higher contrast on black and white shots.

Nice shot! I would try to sharpen it a little though. Usually Im also int more contrast, but with this particular image I find the low contrast quite appeling.

I think this image is one that needs to be executed in colour; I think subtle skin tones with the strong black border would work very well. You could also try a re-shoot with the subject wearing a ring, and do a selective colouration on that. It just seems to bland to me as is.

I will try the color with the black border. A re shoot is out of the question! This happens to be my cousin who just hit the 40 week mark and is completely miserable! I try to work with what I have and maybe wait to shoot some pics of the baby.
