Some Landscapes

[Sarmad]

I was on a family vacation to a remote part of my own city, was a very good experience as I didn't know those parts of the city were so good. But when I got there, a storm was waiting so it was quite a bad luck as I didn't get a chance to shoot much photos and the rain completely ruined a few of my photos. Here are the ones which came out good. Click on the photo to view in flickr.

Such a beautiful country, it's a shame I'll never be able to visit it (you know, history between our countries). I like the last two, but I feel all of them are a bit underexposed, easily fixed in post. Keep trying buddy!

The history is harsh, and murdered. The things I read in my textbook are much different from the facts I sometime stumble upon. One of my teachers told me that the textbooks have the history all wrong, and even most of the available books in the market are unreliable. History is past and it's time to move on Peace.

About underexposure, it was overcast like I had never seen. The sky was all weird and I thought I should keep taking photos in the same EV settings so as to keep the weather in photos. It was also quite chilly in the month of August in there which was weird and I believe I could have gone much farther there if there was not a risk of land sliding and getting trapped in that area.

I like the 1st and 3rd picture. I bet the sunsets there are amazing.

Actually I had selected the early evening late afternoon time to get some angled sun, but it rained. And if I get there sometime again I'll sure get some sunsets

I agree, and I personally would never returned early due to land sliding and debris flow, but it was a family vacation (I'm just about 16 yet ) and it was my mom who insisted on going back.
