I have ALWAYS wondered what EOS means.

I don't know that it actually stands for anything. I just thought that it was named after the goddess.


P.S. If you get lucky or rich the camera will also accept any EF L series which are as good as glass gets these days... All Canon using top flight Pros use them. and you camera will record the image just as well...
