Songbirds - testing the Sigma 150 500

Very nice. Any idea if their programmable docking thingamajig to fine-tune the focus helps eliminate the "bad copy" problem? I think the only big zoom they've released with this capability so far is the 120-300 f/2.8, but I'd expect them to make more lenses compatible with the dock if it's well received.

Thank you everyone!

I heard a rumor that Sigma plans on releasing 12-14 new lenses within the next year, I am sure they will all have the new docking capabilities. Supposedly they are doing a much more stringent quality check of their lenses. Who knows. Canikon better watch out though as Tamron and Sigma are both gunning for them...

It took 4 lens before I received a good copy . The bad lens would hunt focus extremely rapidly ,But never find it . Think of it like , the lens would just Shake . Even when it would lock on ,focus was off /blurry . I received two in a row that was that way . The third one I had Adorama check before sending ,it too was bad . The forth one they checked was good and I'm still using it on a daily basis and am satisfied .
