Sony Cybershot P72 vs Canon A70 vs Nikon Coolpix 3200!!

Hi, I want to buy a camera but I´m in dought among these 3 brands and models as they seem to be at the same range of price. First I was going to buy the Sony Cybershot P72 but my cousin said he had bough 1 and sent it back cause he didn´t like the colours and quality of image, then he bought for the double price a good Canon camera I don´t know the model, and he said he´s totally satisfied. He said maybe because of the lens Sony and Canon use, maybe a Canon at the same price range should have better image quality. But now I found out that Nikon has a cool camera with the same features at the same price range which is the Coolpix 3200, and as I heard Nikon is maybe the best camera brand of the world, I´m really in dought now. What are your opinions? Your help would be really important. Thanks in advance.
