Sony to Olympus - Crazy Idea?

Has anyone considered moving from Sony, an A7ii in my case, over to m43? I am really attracted to the Olympus OM-D E-M1 body and a few of their lenses (12-40, 40-150, 25, and 45). The lenses are all well regarded, and from a size and cost perspective pretty attractive to me.

Currently I have an A7ii, 55 f1.8, 28 f2, and manual Canon 70-210 f4. If I were to transition, I could roughly replace this setup cost-wise with the E-M1, 12-40, 25, and 45, keeping the 70-210 for now and adding the 40-150 in the future. If I do stay with the Sony system, I will soon add the new 70-300 or 70-200 f4.

My biggest concerns would be ISO performance, DoF capabilities, and 16 vs 24 MP (cropping). Thoughts from people that have considered both systems or moved from 1 to the other?

If you think its a good idea to go to a camera system that has worst low light performance, less dynamic range, less resolution and generally worst image quality in comparable ISO a good thing then by all means go for it.
The only advantages the Oly has is smaller, lighter system and cool design.

If I am not mistaking a FF sensor takes 4 times more light then a MFT sensor, for me this sums up everything.

It probably depends on the type of photos you take and what you reasons are for switching.

I believe @The_Traveler uses a combination of Olympus and Sony, but I don't think he frequents this forum anymore.

Stay with the Sony system.
If the Olympus beckons, get a second body like a EM10 MkII and run both parallel.

Sony is the current rising star with Pros (along with Fujifilm); Olympus is the brand du jour with aging amateurs.

I use a D810 for paid shoots but on my vacations, I carry an Olympus TG4. 2 vacations ago, I used a Lumix GM1.
I find that I use my smaller cameras far more on my days off.
