Hello everyone, I hope you're doing well.

I read an article today about a supernova that's viewable with binoculars. I am curious if there is any special equipment I would need to try to snap a photograph of it or would a telescopic lens work? If a telescopic would work, what techniques would you recommend for a good image?

I saw some shots on facebook where people used 200mm full frame to see it. So if you have a long lens it should be doable. Youll have to use a very short exposure with high ISO though at those focal lengths.
