I am up, I am up.. Jeez!!

I went out very early this morning with Sharon's lens mounted on the camera, will have to take another trip with Jason's lens too. I turned off the in camera NR and sharpening Used manual focus only, and set everything else to auto after missing a few shots fumbling to control the aperture and the ISO.
The first thing I noticed right away was that I was able to shoot in much lower light at much lower noise, but I had to be very careful with the composition as there wasn't much headway for cropping and then the advantage of low noise is nullified mostly.
I didn't use autofocus as I haven't understood the mechanism entirely. I am planning to visit the local zoo tomorrow if the work permits me to. I got these pics, and threw in a couple of street shots as requested by you guys. I actually like those better. In #3 I really missed Jason's lens, as the composition could have been better. Let me know what you guys think:

Let's get the birds out of the way, sorry there were mynas everywhere. I may have missed focus on a few of them, but go easy on me it's my first time ever with manual focus

Love the street shots. The second shot of the myna is my favorite, followed by the third myna shot, though that one I'd like perhaps a tighter crop so we can see his funny pose more clearly
