Spontaneous portraits

No planning went into taking these portraits, I just took them while on vacation with the family

The wind blew into her eyes...

Any thoughts?

Great to see folks continue to keep it simple....that sky is the cheapest softbox, yet most don't see it.

Good light in Number One. A bit soft but that works too.

Folk our age prefer it softer, believe me ;-).
And light was getting quite low. Would need to check, but my guess is that exposure already was fairly long.

Well, no surprise the first is a tad soft (which folks our age prefer, like I was saying before ): I took it at f 8.0, ISO 200, 1/50 with the telezoom lense (faulty Sigma 70-300mm) at 168.0mm, handheld.
That explains it!
