I think this is a nice portrait, BUT IMO, you've missed the focus. You have the trident tack-sharp, making it the obvious draw for the eye, but the face ranges from soft to very soft. This would have been a tough shot, but I think my preference would have been for sufficient DoF to render the whole image in sharp focus.

agreed. i wish the guy was in sharper focus.

I love your style of editing, but agree with the face and trident being in full focus to complete the shot.

The picture has a real 'photojournalism' feel to it, at least for me.
I also really like the colors.
