The blured forground elements in #4 & 6 are a bit distracting other than that nice set.

I think this is simply an outstanding use of seasonal foliage. To me, this photo is the one with true staying power.

Usually we see some sort of theme with engagement shoots. The progression goes ocean, nature, residential (I'm a little confused by the siding of the house shot), parking garage, urban park, and back to the dock.

Sierramister, they just wanted a lot of variety - the order is not the order which the pictures were taken, just the order I uploaded them. I wasn't really thinking about a 'progression.' Do you consider that important, I would be interested to hear about your thoughts on that?

1. Great composition and exposure, suites well with what they are wearing and gives a great natural feel.

2. Another great photo, but i don't agree where you cut them off, i would have cut off at the hips not waist.

3. Great idea but the ring blends in too well with the plant. I think a few stops down would have helped make everything darker but kept the diamond still visible

5. really nice, but he seems a little too serious and i would have included her jeans to be consistent but subtle.

8. Again lovely composition and great use of the scenery.

Overall i think you did an outstanding job on this, Congrats!

Funny how that works. I find the foliage highly distracting. Too prominent and too blurred. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder eh ? ;-)

For the rest, its a great set. They must have been pretty happy with these shots

True Frandaman, I liked he blurred flowers myself which is why I included them, but it is interesting to hear how others respond to them.
