Did you notice a difference? Zooming in to 100% is a lot further than it is on the D300. Takes a while to get used to, lol. Looks like you had some willing test subjects!

The Stellar's Jay is uncropped, so not a lot of difference. but huge difference when I processed the other two after cropping. Thanks again for the advice.

yup. big difference and I'm sure I'm only scratching the surface so far. don't have a grip yet(tomorrow) and I'm missing that big time.
