Star Trails over Santa Barbara

Taken at "Knapp's Castle", up in the mountains overlooking Santa Barbara and the Pacific Ocean. 30 minute exposure...if I remember correctly, they were both shot at f/8 24mm. Used a high powered flashlight to paint the structure for 5 seconds overall, which came out a little underexposed but brought up in photoshop. The second one needs some more work with the color.

This is only my second post here, so I'm a little unfamiliar with the workings of this place lol. Tryin' to put my feet in the water so-to-speak.

Any advice/input/critique is appreciated :blushing:

i actually like the way the second one looks. The darker lights add more to the photo.

Both good, but I do like the "full circle" around the Pole Star (is that the right word in English?). How long did you expose for that one?
