Stop mooning me!!

Hi all,

I'm not sure which area to place this question, so if it's in the wrong place, please move it, and let me know where.

I would like to take this image, and make it into a circle or half circle, so the moons all travel in a circle (or half circle).
The question is "How"? Any Photoshop techniques that you know of? If Photoshop won't do this, any idea which program would?

I've been meaning to do something like that but we tend to have clouds anytime something kewl happens. And alot of clouds anytime nothing happens.

Clouds can be kewl too. Just remember when someone throws lemons at you, move to a place with less clouds, and more kewls.

I've done a few Time Lapses with clouds. And a few pics of neat Cloud/Sun things. But after a while clouds are clouds lol I've moved on to taking pics of the airplanes that turn for approach right over my area.

Its quite easy to apply the image to a curved surface but placing a 2D image on a 3D curved surface will cause distortion:

and once its in this environment you could animate it:

These are all a bit rough but if you want any of these let me know and I will clean them up.
I have attached the C4D file if you want to use it.

Yup, exactly what it was. This is a timeline from a total lunar eclipse in 2011.
