Nicely done, most of them work well, and for different reasons.

Pepe is nice because it's slightly soft and dreamy, Mami has some odd scanning artifact (or something) but it's a great shot. The school girls are good, I just wish you had waited until the man directly behind them had left their particular background. The balcony is a little boring, the hand in the water (looking on fire) is GREAT, and the bird on the wire is also very strong.

I would of liked them better if they were sharp in focus but they still have a great Urban feel to them. BTW.....Welcome to TPF

I love the shots! I am also very interested in Cuba. Please post more when you can. I would like very much to see what you have. I hope one day to be able to go to Cuba. I would like to go the first day after their liberation before all the new commercialism swoops in.

Thanks to everyone who replied, It's very much appreciated. Cuba is such an interesting place with a very great history.

I would also like to thank you for the more technical replies. I can't say I took myself to seriously when I took those pictures. But now that I see that I can create good results, my passion for photography grew immensly. I am going to africa for 5 months at the end of august. I can't wait to see how these pictures will turn out !
