Stretching Myself

Anyone watching my stuff on here knows I really don't shoot people. Sure, I get snaps of my kids, but haven't really done anything serious. For the sake of Christmas cards, I grabbed the relatively new ocf and played with using it for some fill. There were definitely some uggos in there, but I'm pretty pleased.

As always, comments are welcome as I'm sure my wife will want more of the same.

Sun was camera right, flash compensation at -1. Got a little interesting with a pup that just wants to go.

Actually taken from across the river, yelling directions at them while a nervous mom waited just outside the shot expecting them to fall in (never mind it being well frozen over). Her hands are sitting a little funky, but....

like the first one more overall, though the boy seems to be squinting, the second one, i like the faces more, i may have zoom cropped that closer to get the faces and discard the others details, as this seems to be the focal point of the shot. ditch the unneeded details and all that. better than my portrait stuff, lol win!
