I went to Kmart the other day, just had to pick up a few things. Walking by, I noticed that, surprisingly, they had DSLR cameras there. Since I've been wanting one and saving up for one(specifically the T3i) I was interested and wanted to go play around with them. I'm newer so I can't tell my cameras apart yet. I was looking at the price tags like most of us do, and I noticed a Canon for $600. I start reading the rest of the label and it says Canon rebel T3i for $599.99. At this point I'm like "Omg, I almost have this much money saved, I could so buy it here and save a ton of money". But then I get to the point where I figured that it had to be wrong. So I turn the camera to wear it's labeled on the body, and it was a Canon T3. No i. I don't know if this a was a sneaky way to try and fool some n00bs or if it was a typo (What a coincidence how it was an i added in there when that is an actual camera). Let's just say my hopes were given up.

P.s) Shortly after looking over the T3 for funsies... an alarm went off when I put it back on it's little stand haha.

well they could have had a t3i underneath. You should have asked.

Yeah But I seriously doubt that haha. Thats -$300 from the original camera.

Did the same thing at a Walmart, then I realized I was there for chips not a camera. Tags and merchandise get mixed up by both customers and employees. It was a simple mistake.

Canon T3 aint a piece a junk, it's just not the T3i. I have the T1i and i love it (wish it had better low light capabilities tho :/) anywhoo, if you are a super noob on a bit of a budget the T3 may not be a bad option. Heres the amazon link ($50 cheeper than walmart btw) Amazon.com: Canon EOS Rebel T3 12.2 MP CMOS Digital SLR with 18-55mm IS II Lens and EOS HD Movie Mode (Black): Camera & Photo read up on the unit and see what you come to. Heres the DPreview of the camera. Canon EOS 1100D Review: 19. Conclusion & Samples: Digital Photography Review

I know the general gist of the Rebel Series, I am just planning on getting a t3i :)
