OK it's not a new breed, it's a Carolina Wren but the darn thing just won't get out in the open for me.

It's almost like they know what's going on, isn't it? Maddening sometimes.. lol

Still, beautiful coloration and the branch in the first shot actually works pretty well I think, he looks like he's peaking out from underneath it.

Maybe it's shy? Have you thought of building a perch that it might use that wouldn't have any obscuring branches? Don't know, just a suggestion. Regardless, that second one isn't that bad.

To be honest , its about time. I've always wondered how you get all your birds to pose in the open. I actually kind of like shots like this.
