Sumalee at the Beach - She's in a bikini, safe or not? C&C

Very Nice, Exposure and Focus looks amazing to me.

I'm kinda fond of this one
She's beautiful and it's a lovely shot. What throws me though is it feels like its a green-screen shot (with an ocean imposed behind it). She's got strong direct light hitting her that produces some hot spots or a glistening body but the background gives us none of that same feel to the lighting.

As to the model, she's lovely and her pose is lovely. My only suggestion for her is that her left arm (pulled to her chest) squeezes her breasts. Instead of creating cleavage, it just makes her top look too small. If that left wrist was just 2 inches further forward (so her right elbow would also be a bit further away from her body) then her biceps would be creating cleavage but her forearms wouldn't be squeezing her breasts and creating the effect I mentioned.

All valid points BUT please take into consideration that I was 90% blind while working with my glasses (transitions) so darkened by the sun and the salt spray that I was really shooting the braille method. :)

I don't need a lesson on photographers who are nearly blind--I feel your pain! Man my eyesight has gone to the point that there I things I no longer see in a photo unless I'm in post. Depressing. And that doesn't even take in to account the conditions you're talking about.

Sorry for an off topic.
Speaking about the poor eyesight. This guy is an amazing photographer even though he is a bit too entusiastic with Photoshop. So I thought. Later I was shocked to learn that his eyesight was so poor he was practically guessing when shooting. He has one eye completely blind and the other one has on ly 20%. He says very often he can only see what he shot on the monitor and even then not really well.

I brought a hat thinking it would shelter my sight some but it was just in the way. An umbrella won't work, too windy. I'm thinking I'll bring a black cloth and cover my head and camera like the early 1900's photographers had to do.

I like it. Under the circumstances, I would say you did a really great job! :)
